The Photo of the Week for this week is a 1939 vintage photo from the Arthur Morgan Service Album.  Arthur was part of the 11th Combat Engineers in the Canal Zone during the late 1930s.  The 11th Combat Engineers built many military defense roads throughout the Canal Zone and I have made a mini presentation saluting these fine men.  I had the privilege to borrow and scan this fine album from Ken Morgan, Arthur's son who lives not far from where I live.  This will be the first mini presentation focusing on the road building.  There are other photos in the album of other items of interest that I will be posting in the near future.
