This week's photo is a classic that I captured off of a ebay auction.  The bidding got out of my range, but had to capture this excellent old photo to show all of you.  The picture taken in 1919 show men delivering coal to the homes in Balboa Flats.  These are the original wood housing that was built in the Flats.  I have another picture of the the old Balboa Flats where you can actually see the chimneys on the houses. Bet you didn't know that the first Canal Zone houses used coal in their stoves.
