This week's photo is another scan out of the same 35mm slide presentation that we have been viewing the last few weeks,   Here is a great shot of Fort Davis, the Third Cut and Gatun Locks pre-turnover.  I went to Google Earth and not all this area has an up to date aerial to do a now and then comparison.  The large baseball field brings back memories as this is where I used to run the annual Atlantic Fair.  I am sure that the Third Cut area in the middle of the photo has all been excavated by now but isn't shown on Google Earth.
