I posted a great old photo of the Curundu Theater last week and promised to post more photos from the Franklin Sleighter collection.  Well as a great follow up photo here is a photo of the theater under construction.

I have posted another great one below that is on the same page as the photo above.  The one below is the Curundu Clubhouse under construction.  These photos are small photos and I did my best at trying to get a decent scan.

The building of the Town Center of Curundu was a very exciting time for all as this gave the residents their own Clubhouse, Theater, Commissary and Post Office.  Little did they know that in less than twenty years the clubhouse and theater would burn down to the ground.
