Photo of the Week
January 26, 2014

At first I didn't want to use this photo as it is in pretty bad shape, but since we showed workers unloading dynamite last week, this was a good photo to follow up with.  This photo from my Edward Charles Schultz collection again is a great capture in time.  Here we have a dynamite bunker in Culebra which was dug out of the side of a hill.  It shows a Gold Role (boss man) overseeing the removal of a case of dynamite from the bunker by a Silver Role laborer.  I love the sign of warning.

Great photo of the Canal Construction Days.
