This is another great photo from  Ron Armstrong.  The photo caption reads, "Canal Zone Fire Department Volunteer Drill, Corozal, C. Z., June 1908".   No Hook and Ladder trucks at this time.  Interesting photo as to how the firemen scaled the buildings of the time.  I'll bet that if this building caught fire, that it would be pretty much burned to the ground before these guys could get any where near the building, let alone scaling the side of it.
