Continuing with the same collection of old photos taken in Gatun during the construction days and featuring people at work and play.

This week's photo is photo titled "Our Gang in Forebay". These guys are some that are pictured in a past photo of the week title survey crew but now they are down in the actual construction grounds of Gatun Locks.  They are standing on and in front of a large mold made of wood.  There were many of these molds constructed to form the massive floor, walls, culverts, etc.  The West Indians in this photo are very fortunate to be working for the surveyors as this was a much cleaner and easier job that most West Indians were assiged.
