Here is a three photo series showing the construction of coffer dams that will separate the current canal channel and the new Third Locks channel.  These coffer dams have to be very strong to separate the two channels or all hell could break loose.  These photos were taken by CZ Images contributor Bill Fall while on his transit in February 2011.  Thanks Bill.
