This week's photo is a photo from the same colection as last week's
photo. Very unique photo taken in Pedro Miguel either late 20's or
early 30s. The photo shows Cerro Luisa in the background and
multi-family quarters along what was known as "Incubator Row"
because there were so many children being born and living there at the
time (Info by Kibby Bouche). The highlight of this photo are the
white tents set up. The Circus is in town!!! As I zoom into
the photo, there is a banner on the large tent saying, " Grand
Circo Shipp". Buy guestimating the location of the tents,
this area would eventually become the Pedro Miguel ball field.
This is a really great photo and another great capture in Canal Zone
history.
