Well, last week we saw all the workers after pay day at Miraflores.  This week's photo is a great old colorized post card showing the actual pay train at Miraflores paying the employees of Miraflores.  Ancon Hill can be seen in the distance and the actual excavation of the so to be Miraflores Locks is to the right.  Wow!!! What a logistical nightmare this must have been paying all these hundreds if not thousands of workers.  The management of the Isthmian Commission had it all organized.  Not the locomotive pulling the pay car is a 299 type locomotive.
