Photo of the Week

This week's photo is a great old photo from the Robert Van Siclen collection. Shown here is a photo taken at the Balboa Dry Dock and Shops. Written on the back of the photo identifies the fish as that of a 1015 pound Sawfish. My opinion is that this Saw Fish must have swam into the dry dock and was trapped when the dry dock was drained. This was not uncommon as many situations like this has happened at Miraflores and Gatun Locks when a chamber is drained. They are using the dry dock crane to lift this massive fish.
