In continuation of Crane Boats, here is a photo submitted by CZ Images contributor Andrew Fraser.  Andrew took this photo in 1986 and shows the Crane Boat Atlas placing a Lock Locomotive onto the center wall of Miraflores Locks.  The Crane Boat Atlas replaced the La Valle which was the photo of the week featured on February 12 and February 18.  The Crane Boat Atlas was built by the Panama Canal in the Balboa Shops.  It is now a training vessel for the Panama Canal Authority.  The new Crane Boat Oceanus is now the current Crane Boat used in the Panama Canal.
