Not the best image, but I scanned this old photo from a personal photo album of Mr. Vncent V. Veenschoten.  I title this photo "Locomotive or Boat". This locomotive is the same class as our famous Locomotive 299.  It is shown here in the Culebra Cut after a flood.  Since the locomotive travels on track, the water has no affect in it's motion.  This is ICC locomotive 311 on a mission.  I have more photos from this collection that I will be posting in the near future.

Great stuff keeps surfacing after all these years.  Long live the memory of our American Heritage building the Panama Canal.
