I recently purchased this rare old post card that I thought the CZ Images viewers would like to see.  This is a photo taken at Porto Bello when the old rock quarry was in full swing.  Tons of rock was quarried in Porto Bello for use in the construction of Gatun Locks.  This photo shows the YMCA building at Porto Bello.  I find this photo very interesting with both the fact that there was a YMCA in Porto Bello and how it was constructed partially over water like the buildings were constructed in Boca del Toro.  Note the quarry workers sitting on the dock.  The Porto Bello Quarry was located across from the old Spanish fort.
