Photo of the Week

     I had several emails from CZ Images visitors when I posted the Washington Hotel pool photos a couple of weeks ago. I came across two more photos that I thought would be of interest. The photo above is a really great close-up photo showing the pool and even better the pump house. Note the pipe below the deck that went to the pump shown in a photo at my photo of the week on March 6.
     Below is a historical aerial photo that CZ Images contributor Herb Jaggi sent me. It shows the Hotel Washington and pool to the right of the hotel. The pool and hotel grounds look so pristine! The historical part of this photo is Colon in ruins after the big fire that burned a good portion of the city. Herb pointed out the Curtiss Flying Boat setting in the water in front of the hotel.
