This weeks photo is a super treat.  This is a aerial photo of the Balboa Clubhouse that we all knew so well.  This photo was taken December 27, 1950.
       The best part of this photo is how you  can see the additions to the original building.  Anything beyond the top roof is add-on.  You can see the last ruminants of the two columns at the entrance way from the original building.  See the photo below that was the original Balboa Clubhouse.
       This comparison is so wonderful showing the metamorphosis of the Balboa Clubhouse.  Isn't this the greatest!!!
       The newly constructed Balboa Theater is very evident in this photo.  The Swimming Pool in the back of the Clubhouse can be seen along with the pump house for the pool.  The long roof that is between the Clubhouse and Swimming Pool is the old bowling alley.
