When I first made the Fort Sherman presentation on the CZ Images website, I had no picture of the vehicular ferry boat that was used there. Well, I found a photo in an old photo album. This week's photo is of the Ferry Boat General Charles F. Humphrey.  This photo was taken in the 1940's according to the age of the photo album.  You can see the slip that the ferry boat used by clicking here.  As you can see, they used a different type of ferry boat at Fort Sherman.  The Thatcher Ferry boats were open.
