The "Photo of the Week" for May 2 is a super early colorized post card taken from Tavernilla Street in Balboa.  The scene is looking down hill towards the club house and El Prado area.  There are two young ladies in this photo, and I have no idea who they are.  Shown in this post card is the wonderful old tropical quarters that were built in Balboa during the late canal construction days.  You can see the Prado in the distance and even more prevalent is the Administration Building in the far distance.  Note the one flag pole.

This is a really great old photo and brings back many memories for me and I am sure for you too.  Every Sunday, I would drive up this street to attend Mass at St. Mary's

God...I miss those days!!
