Photo of the Week

This week's photo is of two U.S. Marines relaxing on their bunks in a Camp Elliott barracks back in 1913. This photo is a very interesting study when you zoom in on all their personal items setting on the shelf behind them. Between the bunks you can see their rifles crossed under the shelf. The photos on the shelf are probably family members. As a bottle collector, I find the bottles on the shelf very interesting. I have seen many of these same bottles in construction day dumps I dug in along the Canal. What a great photo!
