Photo of the Week

Last week we had the Wilson family and friends enjoying a picnic on Panama Bay's beach. This week, I was fortunate to get these two old photos to expand last week's photo. The photo above is of the old Club Miramar which is along what is Balboa Avenue today. Punta Paitilla is the land jutting out in the distance. Below is a photo probably on the same day but looking the other way. Ancon Hill can be clearly seen in the distance.

The Photo of the Week from last week could have been taken anywhere along the coast line where you see trees.

These photos were scanned out of the Varela 2004 catalog that my friend and CZ Images contributor Vicente Pascual sent to me. This catalog has some wonderful old photos within.
