Photo of the Week

A couple of weeks ago I posted a great aerial shot of Miraflores Locks and Water Filtration Plant. This week I am posting another photo that was sent to me by the Panama Canal Authority Graphics Branch. This is a really great shot of the Mount Hope Water Filtration Plant. At first I thought it might be an older photo, but when I zoomed in on the original digital image that was sent to me I could see the new Panama Railroad track along the western fence line. This photo also has a great view of the large water towers that are filled by the water plant. In the background, you can see a portion of the old Mount Hope Tank Farm. We used to dig some nice bottles back in there.
