Photo of the Week

I recently had an inquiry about the old Baptist Church in La Boca. I remembered the old church which was next to the La Boca Printing Plant, but didn't know what became of it. Well, thanks to CZ Images contributor Art Mokray, he passed by and snapped these two great photos. Looks like the church is still active as a Baptist Church and in great condition. I don't know much about the history of this building, but it appears that it was built to last, just like all Canal Zone buildings.

It is always so nice to see the grand Norfolk Pines that graced the Canal Zone towns.

Long live the history of Panama and our Canal Zone home.
