This week's photo is a classic one of the old "President Roosevelt" Ferry Boat.  The President Roosevelt was part of the Thatcher Ferry operation in La Boca.  This photo looks like it was taken in the early 1940s by the looks for the cars.  This particular trip across the Canal has quite a few United States Army vehicles carrying troops.  I wonder if everyone could fit in the one life boat shown.
