My bi-weekly series of photos commemorating the Canal Zone Police ends with this really great reenactment showing the first and the last Canal Zone Police officer uniforms and vehicles.  Actually, I believe the horse was the very first!  It has certainly been fun putting up all these photos as my "Photo of the Week" these past weeks...As this photo caption reads in the book, "78 Years of Service.  Well done....."

This photo is the ninth of my salute to the Canal Zone Police series.  This year,  both the Panama Canal Society and Panama Canal Museum will be having activities in honor of these great men and women at the 2002 Panama Canal Society Reunion.  See the past salute photos in the Photo Archives.
