Photo of the Week
August 23, 1998
This big old Cuipo tree was a landmark at the local-rate town of Red Tank for many years. Red Tank had it's largest population of over 2,200 in the decade between 1931 and 1941 when it was finally deserted and torn down. This photo was taken at the end of a causeway over an arm of Miraflores Lake heading towards Peter Miguel. A story will follow about this all but forgotten town. I will post a notice when I get it done. |
