This week's photo is a very special one.  This is my Dad, Frank P. McLaughlin posing for a photo that was taken by for "The Spillway".  They featured him in an article before he retired.  In this photo he is standing by the gravel and sand filters at the Miraflores Water Filtration Plant.  Dad worked there for many years and retired in 1978.  December 1st is Dad's Birthday and thought I would do a special photo of the week just for him.

Dad passed in August 1994 and is surely missed.  I really miss his stories that he told me about things that happened to him during his 30 years working for the Panama Canal.
