Well....the 2001 Panama Canal Society Reunion is now over and what a GREAT reunion!!!  We had over 2700 people registered, 1200 hotel rooms occupied and super events each day.  I would have to say that this was a very smooth reunion with no glitches.  Everyone had a really good time.  All we heard were very favorable comments and compliments.  Now we start planning 2002!!  Mark your calendars for 3 - 8 July, 2002

Above and below I have posted a couple of photos from this morning's "Despedida", Panamanian Folkloric Dance Presentation by the "Recuerdes de mi Panama" group from Orlando, Florida.  We had the best presentation ever!  As a grand finale, they had dancers come out in some extravagant Carnival costumes.  The cable television channel "Unavision" was there filming the performance, so the dance group went all out.
