Continuing at the Balboa Railroad Station this week. I found this
photo in my archives and I don't remember where it came from, but it
appears to be a photo taken by the Panama Canal Official Photographer as
it has a caption. This is almost the same scene as last week with
the Liberty Loan Parade in 1917, but this one is 11 years later.
This parade was in honor of the "Old Timers" or Panama Canal
Construction workers. I have seen this name given to the
construction workers many times in books that I have read. They
are all forming up and heading down Roosevelt Ave. towards Balboa.
The big truck in the front is the band. This once again is another
great photo and capture in time of our Canal Zone history.
