Adding to the Brown collection this week with a 2003 photo of the old Gatun Union Church building.  On July 2, 2017 I posted a photo from the Brown collection that has this church seen in the distance from the pool.  Long  time CZ Images contributor took this photo randomly while driving around Gatun on a day in 2003.  This was prior to the destruction of New Town Gatun to build the new locks.  Today this church, road, trees and all you see in this photo don't exist anymore.  Where this old church sat is now where one of the water saving basins for the new locks.  I am so glad that Art took this photo as now we still have a snap shot in time of this grand old church that many Gatun Zonians attended services over the years.
