Springing forward to 1998 this week.  I found this old photo taken in April 1998 with hand writing on the back saying, "Members of Jim Clary's field crew conducting an Environmental Impact Statement for the Panama Railroad reconstruction project.  This must have been a study to pave the way for the new Panama Railway Company coming in and redoing all the old PRR line.  These little work cars must have been ruminants of the old PRR fleet.  The fascinating thing about this photo is it was taken at the foot of the hill down from Morgan's Gardens.  The Morgan's old house still standing on top of the hill.
