Photo of the Week
June 19, 2016

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all you fathers out there.  I picked this photo for this week's to continue with our scouting in the Canal Zone photos and celebrate Father's Day.  In the Canal Zone, it was the fathers and mothers that were the leaders for our scouts.  This photo is a classic example of that relationship.  Here we have a crude deep jungle camp-out location unknown, but appears to be late 1960's as the guy on the left was in my high school class.  The handwriting on the photo identifies the four people as being Maurice Kelleher, Jan Bolton, Peter Bolton (the dad) and David Markum.

I used to love camping out and looking for old bottles in the jungle as the jungle is truly untamed and close to God.
