I am a bit late this week because of our Tropical Storm visitor over the last few days.  Storm prep and cleanup ate up my time to post a photo, but things are back to normal and I have the time to post the photo I wanted to post this week.

This is back to the Canal Zone Scouting theme with  a great photo taken in front of the Salvation Army building on La Boca road in Balboa.  Here scouts are manning a table during a food drive.  There are no names of the people in the photo nor a date. By looks of the van or truck coming up the street, I would say late 50's or early 60's.  You can see a Chiva Bus on the other side of the lamp post.  All those food items no doubt came from the Panama Canal Commisary.

This photo brings back many memories of traveling up and down La Boca Road.  It is the look and smell of the Canal Zone.
