A tribute this week to a wonderful lady.  Alice Louise (Brayton) Lowery my Mother-in-Law passed away on January 19th, 2016.  

Alice was born in Ancon, Canal Zone to her parents Rodman Augustin and Marian Ross Brayton.  Rodman was a Roosevelt Medal holder for his work during  the construction of the Panama Canal.  She was married to George E. Lowery (deceased) who was a Locks Locomotive Operator until his retirement.

Alice was a wonderful Mom of four sons and a daughter (my bride).  

Throughout Alice’s life she touched many hearts of all the friends she made, everywhere she went. She was a very crafty lady and created countless beautiful wreaths that she kindly gave away. Alice was a Catholic and she loved her God and her church.  She would profess her faith and her love of God to all that would listen.

Alice was gentle, kind-hearted and loving and we will always hold dear all the wonderful memories we all created together.
