For this week's photo, I am posting a 1989 vintage photo that was taken from a cruise ship in Gatun Locks.  I found this photo while looking through a bunch of photos I recently obtained.  I thought the subject matter to be interesting as many (except those who worked at Gatun Locks or ships passing though) would have never seen.  This building on the lock wall of Gatun Locks was the Maintenance Division Tow Track Maintenance Branch - Gatun Locks building.  They erected a sign commemorating  the 75th Anniversary opening of the Panama Canal
