As a follow up to last week's photo of the Town of Madden, here is a family photo taken within the town showing the contractor's quarters.  Note the quarters are small but standard tropical housing typical of the Canal Zone.  This photo was taken sometime between 1933-1934 by Dick Brown's father.  The women on the left is Dick Brown's mother, pregnant at the time with Dick.  The other women is a friend.
