  Here is a great aerial photo of the School of Americas or the former Fort Gulick Hospital and the town of Fort Gulick prior to this area being turned over to the Panama Defense Forces and being called Fort Espinar.  I lived just up the street from the School of the Americas in quarters #8 from 1985 - 1989.   These were wonderful years because living in Gulick was like living in Gamboa or Gatun!  You lived right on the BEST lake in the world...Gatun Lake.  Isn't the lake in this photo beautiful?

The old School of the Americas building has now been renovated into the Meliá Panama Canal Hotel as shown below.....
