All Zonian kids remember shooting bows and arrows at archery class and tournaments. Here is a grand photo of a large mixed group of kids and young adults assembled in the Balboa High School stadium in the 1940s. The trees in the background are those along Roosevelt Ave and still have room to grow. We had it made in paradise!!
