Photo of the Week

Very nostalgic photos this week of the Cristobal High School, era 1933. First an aerial of the brand new school with the town of New Cristobal surrounding the school grounds. Along with the beach with sewage pipes, which was necessary as the Manzanillo Peninsula was a filled swamp where septic systems could not be used. What a beautiful campus and so many great memories the students that attended had. Below is one of the inner sanctum court yards of the school. How nice the architecture our Canal Zone architects had. Long live the memories of our Canal Zone home.
