Photo of the Week

Continuing with our Margarita, Canal Zone weekly photo, this week we have a photo of the new concrete school in South Margarita, 1953. I used to work in the main office in the late 1980s when working for the Directorate of Community Activities, USARSO. The campus was no longer a school. The kids that remained in Margarita, were bussed to Fort Gulick Elementary School. The Canal Zone Government, Schools Division was now history and Department of Defense Dependent Schools ran the remaining schools in the former Canal Zone.
