Photo of the Week
I found this photo today and what a coincidence as my brother who was in Panama for the past month took the photo below. The photo below shows that the ole Balboa Post Office is still in good shape. I by comparison, I see that the upper half of the walls are caged in and not solid as shown in the photo below. I am not sure when they closed in those portions of the wall, but must have been when air-conditioning came to the Canal Zone. The Balboa Post Office was an architectural masterpiece within the master plan of the building plans of the town of Balboa. Long live our Canal Zone heritage!!!
