Getting ready for Christmas and I thought I would post this great photo from 1948 at Gatun Locks. Remember those old scraggly Christmas trees we used to get back in the Canal Zone? Well...here is one all decorated and on the center wall of the locks. This is an outstanding example of celebrating the holidays in the Canal Zone. We will have another one next week. Long live our Canal Zone history.
