This week we have an updated photo of the architectural comparison of the old house wares commissary building built during the construction of the Canal and the modern Banco National building. I would love to have the story behind of who and why they copied the building facade of the old building to the new building. Lew Stabler sent me this photo to upgrade the ones he sent last week that I posted. It was a rainy day compared to the beautiful in the above photo. Thank you Lew... I still don't get the dome. Almost makes the building look like some sort of church.
