Photo of the Week
Following up to last week's photos of the USS Iowa (BB-61) in 2001 while in route from Rhode Island to San Francisco and will serve as a museum ship in Los Angeles. The locks personnel hated when these big Naval ships transited and this photo show why. Barely 2 ft. to play with. The chamber is 110 ft. and the Iowa is 108 ft. wide. Photo courtesy of reddit.com. For the many that have given the ultimate sacrifice, we remember you on this Memorial Day. |
