Another great image from the vintage 50 - 70s 35mm slides I have been scanning. I loved this photo when it came along in the piles of slides. I made this walk just like these Balboa High School students are doing on the way to the Balboa Clubhouse for lunch. I know one of the people in this photo who is from the Class of 71, so I would say this photo was taken in 1970 or 1971. To the far right is half of a Canal Zone Police officer monitoring the cross walk with the Balboa Commissary in the background. What a flash back with memories. This was the Canal Zone at it's best. Those were the days. I am so glad this photographer took this photo.
