Photo of the Week
This week we have another 35mm slide scan that my brother Barry sent me. When I first saw I got real sad as I know that scene well from the old days. This photo was taken in the back of the long row of barracks in Fort Amador. This was the barracks parking lot. This was probably taken behind the first barracks as you can see the boats tied up at the yacht club. This photo is certainly 50's vintage by the looks of the old cars. Note the pieces of board nailed to the coconut tree that someone used to get coconuts. This area is all different today with the barracks and parking lot gone. This is one of those super captures in time. Thanks for sending Barry. |
