Photo of the Week
I
am jumping over and back to the Robert Bodle collection this
week. A friend asked me to look for photos of Panama City in the
early 1900's, so I was going through the Bodle collection and found
this out standing photo of the suburbs of Panama City during the Canal
construction days. Look at how all that land lays vacant and
virgin as well as Punta Paitilla in the distance. It appears
that is the railroad track spur in the foreground behind the white
wall. Super one of kind photo. You know what this scene
would look like today if you were standing where Bodle was standing
when taking this photo. |
