Back to the Alfred G. Bedell collection this week. Here we have Alfred and friends in front of the Gatun Y.M.C.A. in the early 1910s. I made a zoom-in below so you can see the people's faces better. The expressions are interesting, especially the women. The Gatun Y.M.C.A. was built on the large hill next to were the Gatun Despensary was/is. See photo of the week from April 28, 2002 (Click). Great old photo of life during the construction days. More next week if we don't get blown away. 2020 just seems to get worse and worse with all is and has gone on this year. Now it is Florida's turn to get a storm.
