Earlier this year I acquired an old collection of 1950s post cards which had this Christmas one and another within.  This is a real classic photo showing a Canal Zone house all decorated for Christmas.  I believe this is the Panzer house in Diablo Hts.  My wife and I have carried on a similar custom each year in the Zone and here in Florida.  We have been making decorations out of plywood for years.  It is always so much fun decorating for Christmas.
