Photo of the Week

This week we are continuing with two photos from the collection of Fay H. McCain. Here we have a really bad train wreck on the Panama Railroad mainline. This was surely a bad pile up reducing the box cars to splinters. I am sure Fay was there taking these photos prior to his help in clearing the line with his wrecking crane not shown.

You can see the familiar power line towers that went from ocean to ocean along the PRR tracks.

These are the last of Fay McCain photos that I have. Like I mentioned early on with this presentation, it is too bad that this collection was broken up and sold on eBay. It would have been wonderful to have kept Fay's collection of photos in one album. I hope I have done good here with showing some of Fay's historical photos
