I was scanning through my digital photos for this week's photo of the week and found this really interesting photo.  CZ Images contributor Paolo Sanfilippo sent this photo to me back in 2017.  I don't have a year or who the troops were, but what a classic photo composition of the ancient Fort of San Lorenzo and modern troops of today's U.S. military posing on the deck.  Imagine the old Spanish troops stationed at the fort in the old days probably had formations just like this.  What an incredible photo.

CZ Images contributor Vicente Pascual wrote in with an explaination of this day : 

"Those are special forces from Fort Gulick, the 8th SFG ( Special Forces Group ). They trained Latin American troops at Gulick in the 1960s."
